The new 2010 Land Rover LR4 is an upgraded version of the outgoing LR3 version. The new model is expected to come with a new light with great interior design and the top quality world class V8 engine. The new machine has been built with updated technological features and having superb off road capabilities. The new machine comes equipped with a powerful V8 engine, it’s a mid size luxury SUV that is being offered in a single trim level. There are great features available in the new 2010 Land Rover LR4, some of the standard features available in the new model are the front and rear fog lights, 19 inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, leather upholstery, rain sensing wipers, heated exterior mirrors, dual zone automatic climate control system, a powerful tilt and slide front sunroof, a tilt telescoping steering wheel, fixed rear sunroof, auxiliary audio jack, nine speaker stereo system with in-dash CD changer and a 5 inch display options.
Many of the features in 2010 Land Rover LR4 have been grouped together in its HSE series of packages. The HSE package in the new Land Rover includes features like front parking sensors, 19 inch wheels, cold climate group, Bluetooth,
satellite radio, 7 inch touch screen display options, an iPod interface, mapping capabilities, hard drive based navigation systems and lots of other features. The other features included in the HSE Plus package includes features like back up camera, keyless entry, interior mood lighting, third row seating arrangement, HD radio as an optional features. The HSE LUX package includes features like high-grade leather upholstery, center console cooler box, 14 speaker Harman Kardon surround sound audio system, driver seat memory function setting. The HSE LUX package also includes features like 360 degree camera parking system that comes with a heavy duty package and also an active locking rear differential that comes with a full size spare tire.
Some of the other features included in the package include heavy-duty package, second row climate control feature, Bluetooth facilities and other accessories. The optional feature in the new package also includes rear seat entertainment system.
The new 2010 LR4 version comes with a 5.0 liter V8 powerful engine that is capable of producing 375 horsepower and gives out 375 pound feet of torque. The machine also comeswith a six-speed automatic transmission feature that comes along with a sophisticated four-wheel drive system. The machine is available in five different types of setting when the rotary knob is used and those settings are mud and ruts, general setting, snow-gravel-grass setting, rock crawl setting. These setting optimize the use of the machine to driver comfortable even in such conditions. The new LR4 also features an independent suspension system that makes use of electronic controlled air springs that will automatically adapt any type of terrain or challenge.
The new Land Rover LR4 can zoom from zero to 60 mph in a matter of just 7.5 seconds; this is seriously a good zoom for the vehicle that is weighing 6,000 pounds. The new LR4 is rated to give 12 mpg on the city roads while a 17-mpg on highway and the combination comes to 14 mpg. The new LR4 is capable of towing up to 7,700 pounds. The safety features in the new model includes a traction control system, antilock disc braking system, hill descent control, stability control, front seat side airbags, full length side curtain airbags and lots more.
