Bentley Continental GT and GTC Gets V8
The brawny 6.0-ltr W12 engine of Bentley will be replaced by a well-built powerful 4.0-ltr twin-turbo V8 engine in the Bentley Continental GT Coupe and Bentley GTC Convertible. The all new Vh8 Bentley models will be debuting at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, which is scheduled to be held at the beginning of January 2012. The new V8 engine that will be powering the Bentley GT and GTC Convertible has the potential to generate maximum power of 500-bhp and 487 lbs-ft of maximum torque, and will be paired to an 8-speed close-ratio automatic transmission. The engine also has a changeable-displacement system, which lets the engine to run solely on 4-cylinders under half-done throttle load. Now we haven’t got the official figures for the fuel economy from the automaker, but they did told that the arrival of the new V8 engine will meet the goals of the company to develop a engine which could offer at least 40 percent betterment in fuel efficiency. Lexus Unveils GS 250 At 2011 Guangzhou Auto Show
A lot of new models have been launched at the 2011 Guangzhou Auto Show, and the latest of them all is Lexus GS 250. The recently unveiled Lexus GS 250 is a variant of Lexus’ freshly redesigned GS sedan. The newly unveiled Lexus GS 250 will be sold in China and some other international markets outside US. The GS 250 is expected to be powered by a 2.5-ltr direct-injection V6 engine cranking 206 bhp of peak power and 187 lbs-ft of peak torque under its hood. The V6 engine here is coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission having selectable drive modes and sequential manual shift function. According to Lexus, the GS 250 will go from 0 to 60 easily less than 8.6 secs and at the same time it also has a top speed of around 142 mph. The all new Lexus GS 250 will be entering markets of China at the starting of next year and by the middle of year it will hit the other markets around the world including US and many more.

One of the biggest advantages of the growing ties between Chrysler and Fiat is the joint growth of their respective product portfolios. Volvo’s V60 Plug-In Hybrid To Go On Sale in 2012
Volvo has officially confirmed that their all new V60 diesel hybrid plug-in car will be entering the dealers in 2012 with European market being their first stop. Volvo also confirmed that the Volvo V60 will also be having a projected range of around 745 miles. The Volvo V60 first was launched at the Geneva auto show earlier this year. Volkswagen doesn’t have any plans to sell the vehicle in US markets. Nonetheless, the specifications of the Volvo V60 are rather impressive, and the power for V60 comes from an electric motor and 2.4 ltr 5-cylinder diesel engine. The combination of electric motor and the diesel engine generates maximum power of 281 bhp and 472 lbs-ft of maximum torque. The combustion engine will power the front wheels of the van while the rear wheels will be powered by the electric motor. GM Will Recall 2011-’12 Chevrolet Corvette
GM will be recalling around 5,755 models of their 2011-'12 Chevrolet Corvettes. The reason for the recall according to the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) is reported to be the faulty hatch which at times could break up during a crash. One of the spokesperson from GM confirmed that there haven’t been any reports of any major injuries or deaths because of the fault. He further told that the fault was reported during the testing for an impending European (Safety) standard test event. As soon as the fault was found the company issued a stop-sale order for the affected vehicles, but later it was lifted. In its recall summary the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said that, the back hatch hinge of the car might not meet the essential load requirements that have been mentioned in the (Federal) safety standard. Audi has already given green light to the A2 model, which is ready to charge the fanatics by reviving legendary set and badge. From few reliable sources it was observed that Bentley is planning to release its new model 2012 Bentley Continental GTC convertible displaying a new facelifted design. The car was under testing for the first time at Nurburgring in Germany, where we spotted out few spy shots Bentley Continental GTC. The 2012 Bentley Continental GTC that is featured with all new face incorporating with steeper front fascia and quad headlights. BMW expand its production in China
BMW has finally decided to expand its capacity in the production of vehicles as soaring demands from the customers in China. Originally they have plan for $795 million, but now the figures are changed to $1.4 billion. They are going to invest money with local partner Brilliance Automotive in order to expand the annual production to 3, 00,000 units. The joint venture of BMW and Brilliance in Shenyang, situated in northwest of Beijing, which is been assembling its 3 Series & 5 Series since 2003. BMW is planning to add the production for the X1 model till 2012. As stated earlier the partners were going to invest $795 million that includes second plant in Shenyang region. In Da Dong which is the existing plant already produces near about 1,00,000 units a year and promises to built 2,00,000 units in the new plant in Tiexi, including paint shop and a stamping plant. BMW all set for M5 production models
The super saloon BMW M5 sheds its camouflage by revealing its muscular bodywork, which comes from the powered twin turbo V8 engines. The BMW M5 concept is almost ready to spread its wings in the market. The latest and clearest spy shots have finally revealed the full production of the cars including lower bodywork and light disguise on the badges. The concept for the BMW M5 war already unveiled at the “Shanghai Motor Show” last month. By comparing with the model at the Shanghai Motor Show and here in the production is impossible to notice. There is same three gaping air intakes on the lower front bumper in order to offer more aggressive face and to keep it cool, whereas the flanks is added to the M5 branded vent. At the back of BMW M5, the quad exhaust pipes is impressive, whereas the paint job with pearlescent on the test car was excellent.
