The latest 2010 Chevrolet Malibu has turned out to be a solid entry for all the midsize sedan car buyers, the new machine from Chevrolet is supposed to give you strong performance with a powerful V6 engine. The new Chevy machine boosts of four-cylinder engine giving good fuel economy and an excellent comfortable ride. It gives you good handling capabilities along with greater speed controls. The new 2010 Chevrolet Malibu is a five-passenger sedan being offered in four trim levels. The new Chevy Malibu is a four-door sedan and their trim levels include LS, 1LT trim version, 2LT trim and LTZ trim version. The standard equipments included in the new 2010 Chevrolet Malibu includes automatic headlights, 17 inch steel wheels, power driver seat height, air conditioning, keyless entry, six speaker stereo with CD player, satellite radio, tilt telescoping steering column, auxiliary audio jack, Onstar entertainment, six speaker stereo with CD player. The standard features in the 1LT includes features like six speed transmission, color keyed side mirrors, steering wheel mounted audio controls and moldings.

The standard features included in the 2LT trim version has Bluetooth, remote engine start, 17 inch chrome clad alloy wheels, premium faux suede, heated front seats, six way power driver seats and other options like leather wrapped steering wheels. The top of the line LTZ model includes features like heated side mirrors, 18 inch alloy wheels, LED tailights, eight way driver power seats, automatic climate control, upgraded gauges, six way passenger power seats, leather upholstery, eight speaker stereo that includes two subwoofers and an USB audio jack. There are handful of other optional features that can be grouped together and can be created into packages.

The 2010 Chevrolet Malibu powertrain comes with standard option of a 2.4 liter four cylinder engine that gives 169 horsepower and 158 pound feet of torque. The machine comes with four speed automatic transmission as the standard option in the LS trim version. It can zoom from zero to 60 mph in 9.5 seconds. The optional features that are available with 2LT and LTZ is a 3.6 liter V6 engine that boosts of 252 horsepower and 251 pound feet of torque. It comes with a six speed automatic paddle shifters as a standard options. The safety standard features of the machine includes antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, side curtain airbags and front side airbags. The machine also comes with OnStar emergency telematics as a standard option.
